* The Energising Harakeke Soap
Harakeke is New Zealand’s native flax plant and has long been known for its skin hydrating properties. We have combined Harakeke extract in this bar as well as skin detoxifying and smoothing Kaolin clay.
Ingredients: Water, coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, organic unrefined shea butter, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, Harakeke extract, kaolin clay, sweet orange essential oil, frankincense essential oil, peppermint essential oil, dried rose petals, hibiscus flowers and peppermint leaves
* The Kūmarahou and Koromiko soap
Kūmarahou (Pomaderris kumeraho) is also known as Gum Diggers soap from its use on the Gumfields of Northland. The gumdiggers lived roughly in dry scrub forest while trying their luck to strike it rich with Kauri gum. They found (and most likely were shown by local Maori) that by rubbing the flowerheads of Kūmarahou with a small amount of water, they made a soap! The compounds that are in the flowers are called Saponins and can sometimes be found in some household detergents and dishwashing liquid.
It has also been a soothing and healing agent traditionally used on sores, wounds, rashes and skin irritations. It locks in moisture and said to have strong antimicrobial properties.
Koromiko is a small shrub (Hebe stricta) usually found in coastal bush.
Being naturally high in tannins, Koromiko has astringent properties which can be useful for skin complaints. Koromiko is said to reduce weeping and aid healing by constricting tissues to form a protective barrier. This also helps reduce any inflammation associated with many skin issues, including nappy rash.
These astringent properties can also remove excess oil and dirt from skin and shrink pores, making it useful to aid in treating acne and blackheads.
Add all this together with a soap bar high in moisturising organic shea butter, gentle olive oil and antimicrobial Manuka essential oil, this luxurious Kiwi-packed soap is ideal for all skin types.

* The Kawakawa and Manuka Soap
Kawakawa is native to NZ and is known to have wonderful healing qualities, including both anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. You can find it in forest areas, look out for their unique heart shaped leaves. The more holes in the leaves, the better!
It is lightly scented and the Manuka essential oil is known for being a powerful antimicrobial, soothing inflammation and aiding in healing the skin. The Manuka oil we have used comes from the East Cape of New Zealand (higher levels of the antimicrobial triketone compounds are found there).
Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, water, sodium hydroxide, Kawakawa infused sweet almond oil, avocado oil, dried Kawakawa leaves, Manuka essential oil
* The New Zealand Pumice Scrub
This soap is a gently exfoliating scrub bar, containing a generous amount of New Zealand pumice powder and an awakening, refreshing citrus blend of Sweet Orange, Litsea Cubeba (May Chang) and Bergamot essential oils.
Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, water, sodium hydroxide, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, New Zealand Pumice powder, kaolin clay, sweet orange essential oil, litsea cubeba essential oil, bergamot essential oil
* The Harakeke Patchouli Soap
A luxurious bar of soap, loaded with skin loving organic, unrefined shea butter and coconut oil. This bar has a creamy lather and smells gorgeous, containing a combination of patchouli and sweet orange essential oils.
Ingredients: Olive oil, water, organic unrefined shea butter, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, Harakeke extract, Kaolin clay, Patchouli essential oil, Sweet Orange essential oil
* The Kawakawa and Tea Tree Soap
The activated charcoal in this bar has amazing cleansing power – it is said to draw out toxins which may help those struggling with acne, oily skin or blackheads.
Tea Tree and Manuka essential oils are believed to have antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties which may help reduce redness and soothe irritated skin.
Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, water, sodium hydroxide, Kawakawa infused sweet almond oil, avocado oil, activated charcoal, Tea Tree essential oil, Manuka essential oil
As soaps are hand cut, weights may vary. Minimum weight of each bar 100grams.
